about kait

Growing up in a family consisting of 5 daughters & two loving parents meant that food was always a topic of conversation.

“Mommy, what’s for dinner?” was a question asked at breakfast, when we were home for lunch, and after school. Oh, after school. We’d rush home and swing the back door open, and those smells emanating from the kitchen will haunt me always.

It is her influence alone that gave me the love for cooking and eating that I’m sure will remain for as long as I am alive (as will my gym membership.)

This blog will evolve and grow as will my tastes and experiences, to be sure. I urge you, my readers, to pick up your forks and dig in.
